The two smiling faces in the image above are Gert and Daisy, the comedy duo who cheered the war years with their inane gossip and down-to-earth banter. The sisters, whose real names were Elsie and Doris Waters, “retired” to Steyning. The museum has a large collection of Elsie and Doris memorabilia.
