St. Mary’s House and Gardens, Bramber: 500 years of History

St. Mary’s is an historic house surrounded by beautiful gardens.
The site was owned by the Knights Templar and the house was built in about 1470. Afternoon visitors are welcome on Sundays, Thursdays and Bank Holiday Mondays during the Summer. Steyning Country Fair: Late May Bank Holiday Monday

Taking place in odd numbered years only, the Steyning Country Fair is organised by the Steyning Chamber of Trade, with local shops, businesses and groups taking part. It’s a great day out. Steyning Museum is always there, to help raise funds and add to the merriment of the day for visitors and locals. Greening Steyning

This project aims to make Steyning, Bramber and Upper Beeding “the greenest and most sustainable community in the UK.” The group holds a regular stall at the Steyning Farmer’s market advising on, and helping with, recycling plastic, stocks a community fridge, run a monthly Repair Cafe in Beeding, and so on.
