Steyning Museum Trust had a full house for their fundraising cream tea on July 10th which due to the bad weather had to be switched from Rosebank to the Steyning Centre at the last moment. Thanks go to Maggie Hollands and her team of enthusiastic volunteers for baking lots of homemade scones in the morning and serving up a splendid cream tea to all.

Said Maggie "it was so rewarding to see everyone enjoying their afternoon, meeting up with friends and listening to live music again after all the months of lockdown. And to cap it all the event raised £475 to support the Museum."

Everyone enjoyed being entertained by local folk group The Cheer Up Mollys who played to an appreciative audience of Museum supporters.

Due to a sell-out on this fundraiser, another Cream Tea, again with The Cheer Up Mollys, is planned for Saturday August 7th hopefully this time taking place at Rosebank in Jarvis Lane.

Please do come along and visit your Museum - we are open from 10am to 4pm every Wednesday to Sunday
