STEYNING MUSEUM'S
CHRISTMAS CARDS
December 2015

Steyning Museum organised a drawing competition at Steyning Primary School to design a Christmas card. There were some great entries and the winner was Poppy Walton (aged 7) who drew a lovely picture of Steyning Church, complete with snow people and snow. Recently we presented Poppy with a pack of her very own Christmas cards as a well done and thank you from the Museum.

Xmas card winner

Steyning Museum has different local Christmas cards on sale each year and this competition created a perfect opportunity for the Museum to link with the community and to produce a wonderful Christmas card. Our other new card on sale in the Museum also links with the community as a photographic competition was organised in connection with the publication of a new Church Guide earlier this year. The theme was unusual views of Steyning Church and the winning photo was taken by Hugh Kitson. His picture has now been produced as another fabulous Christmas card.

Come along and visit us at Steyning Museum to buy your local Christmas cards.

Steyning Museum is open 5 days each week - 10.30 to 12.30 and 2.30 to 4.30 (4.00 October to April) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (open all day Saturday) plus Sunday afternoons and Bank Holiday Mondays.
